Grilled Salmon

A simple soy sauce and brown sugar marinade, with hints of lemon and garlic, are the perfect salty-sweet complement to rich salmon fillets.

Cioppino

A classic seafood stew with a little bit of everything from the sea. Shrimp, scallops, clams, mussels, and crab meat; seasoned with oregano, thyme and basil. Serve with a loaf of warm, crusty bread for sopping up the delicious broth!

Cedar Planked Salmon

This is a dish my brother prepared for me in Seattle. Salmon is smoked by cooking it on a cedar plank. It is by far the best salmon I've ever eaten. I like to serve with an Asian inspired rice and roasted asparagus.

Blackened Tuna Steaks with Mango Salsa

a
Tuna steaks are well-seasoned, lightly pan-fried, and served atop fresh-made mango salsa for a delicious and impressive main course.

Pepper-Honey Cedar Plank Salmon

I live in Alaska and have 3 sons that love to fish. I have had to come up with some pretty creative ways to prepare salmon, this is by far my family and friends favorite way to eat fresh salmon. I soak an untreated cedar plank in water and bourbon while they are out fishing for the day and fix the barbeque sauce so that's it is ready to get grilling.....

Heather's Grilled Salmon

A simple marinade of brown sugar and soy sauce is jazzed up with the addition of lemon pepper and some dried herbs. Grilled salmon never tasted so good!

Halibut with Zesty Peach Salsa

Our Test Kitchen came up with a fun way to serve halibut by marinating it in citrus juices and brown sugar, then topping it with a refreshing peach salsa. The colorful entree is pretty enough to serve to company.

Absolutely Amazing Ahi

This tantalizing appetizer mingles fresh ahi, avocado, cucumbers and spice and will impress the most knowledgeable food critic.

Spicy Salmon with Caramelized Onions

Salmon fillets are marinated with a spice paste and finished with caramelized onions in this quick and easy dish.

Hearty Halibut Chowder

I got this recipe when I lived in Anchorage, Alaska. It's made from Alaskan halibut. The shredded carrots and Cheddar cheese in this chowder make it distinctive.

Ginger-Scallion Crusted Salmon

Asian flavors accentuate the best fresh salmon that is available to you. If you don't have access to good quality fresh salmon, substitute tuna, mahi mahi, swordfish, monkfish, or wahoo.

Maria's Portuguese Bacalau

This is a traditional Portuguese dish that brings back memories of mom. It is not only tasty but it is always a hit at parties. Plan ahead, because the salted cod needs to soak for 24 hours.

Brine for Smoked Salmon

Salmon brine is made with lots of citrus flavor. It is also excellent for trout. This recipe makes enough to brine two large salmon fillets.

Ginger Chili Citrus Salmon

An intensely flavored marinade gives grilled salmon a sweet and spicy kick.

Alder Plank Smoked Salmon

Smokin' Ron
This smoked salmon derives its flavor from Alder wood planks. I get these planks at the local lumber yard. Be sure you tell whoever helps you that you are cooking salmon on the wood so that you do not get any creosote wood or other treated wood. Also, make sure you know what plank size will fit in your smoker before you go to get the wood. This salmon will come out very moist and smoky, so be prepared for some of the best smoked fish you've ever eaten!

Saltfish Buljol

A favorite Sunday morning breakfast on the island of Trinidad in the Caribbean. Saltfish can be found in many grocery stores, ask your grocer to help you locate it. Serve this dish with sliced hard boiled eggs or simply serve with toast.

Fish with Cucumber-Orange Relish

Heres a great low-fat entree thats quick and easy, promises Amy Bauer of Griffith, Indiana. The relish stars tart cucumbers and mandarin oranges over tasty orange roughy. Its turned my family of fish haters into fish lovers overnight, Amy enthuses.

Vonciel's Seafood Salad

Shrimp, scallops, crab and tuna are blended with crisp celery and bell peppers and a seasoned mayonnaise dressing for a crowd-pleasing cool summertime salad.

Grilled Glazed Salmon

Salmon marinated in red wine vinegar, garlic and basil, makes an easy yet elegant main dish.

Doreen's Oriental Swordfish Steaks

Succulent swordfish steaks take on an Asian-inspired flavor with the help of a tangy marinade.
