I have been eating lunch earlier lately. I am sleepy this afternoon. 31 has been a rough year on me physically. I got allergies this year. I use paper towels when we are out of coffee filters.

Joke of the Week

Two young idiots were camping out in the forest one night. But the mosquitoes
Were so fierce that the boys had to hide under their blankets to keep from getting bitten.
The one of the boys saw some lightning bugs. “We may as well give up,” he told his friend. “Now they are coming at us with flashlights.”

Dear Andrew:

Thanks very much for communicating your great idea, and for your
interest in City government. While the color schemes of our local
sports teams are different, owing to the varying natures of each sport,
there are some similarities in how each team markets its identity as a
franchise situated in Salt Lake City. Even the logo of the Utah Jazz
( http://www.nba.com/jazz/index_main.html) and the official Salt Lake
City flag (attached) share an emphasis on Salt Lake City's location in the
Intermountain West. You are quite correct in noting that, when sports
teams and other organizations have overlapping color schemes or share
similar marketing themes, they can help create a distinct marketing
identity for a particular city or region.

Best regards,

Subject: City's Color Schemes

Hi there. I wanted to share an idea I have that I think would be good
for all the major cities in the United States. I think that it would
be a good idea for each city to have its own unique color scheme for its
professional sports teams. This would be a great way to show a new
sense of pride to your city. I am sure this would be tough to pull
off but I think if there was a fair way for each city to select its own
color scheme, in the end, each city would gain more pride and each
team would profit from the Marketing of these colors. Thanks for your
help with my idea!
