Thank you for your comments. We did have some technical problems on
Ron's interviews on one game, but it was not his fault...and we have
since remedied the problem.

Ron is a Cubs icon and extremely popular with our audience. His passion
for the Cubs is the greatest asset he brings to the booth. If he
mispronounces a name or two, we know that Pat Hughes will get the name
right. Harry Caray also mispronounced or forgot names on occasion.
Remember, it's spring training for the broadcasters, too.

Thanks for your input, and thank you for listening to the Cubs on WGN

I have absolutely had enough with Ron Santo doing Cubs radio. I used to
just deal with his inability to do the basic demands of the job but it
has gotten so bad. You need to take action. I have listened to most of
the WGN spring training radio broadcasts (about 4 or 5 so far). He has
single-handedly ruined every pre-game show. He either forgets to record
an interview, forgets what time to get on the air, or forgets pretty
much every players name. He is dragging down the credibility of your
station and making your other broadcasters look bad by covering up for
him. Now is the time to find a way to replace him. This can not go on
any longer.
