Hello. Dr. Odd here. Kristen is my wife's friend from high school. She lives in Arizona but we end up seeing her a couple times a year. She is really fun and funny and friendly. You can drop her a line here. Kristen Jackson

When were you born? Where?

I was born on Nov. 20, 1971. Oddly enough I was born in Joliet, IL, but our family resided in West Bend, WI. My mom liked her Illinois doctor so much that when she got close to her due date she stayed with her mom in Lemont, IL and I was delivered in a hospital in Joliet.

What is the 1st thing you want to do when you get home from work or when you wake up on the weekends?

When I get home from work, the first thing I want to do is change into comfy clothes! When I wake up on the weekends, I like to lounge around a little, eat breakfast and then get ready for the day. I especially enjoy going out to breakfast.

Who would you like to pattern yourself after?

That's a tough question because there are several people in my life who I admire and look up to. If I could take a little piece of each one of them, my pattern would be perfect! I would have my mom's courage, my dad's positive attitude, my sister's body, my brother's brains, my friend Wendy's positive outlook on life, my friend Angela's good heart and good sense and my husband's sense of humor. The list could go on and on, but I will leave it at that.

What is your favorite vacation spot?

I love to vacation anywhere warm and sunny that has a beach, margaritas and a waiter! My favorite vacation so far was Hawaii, but DisneyWorld and Key West come in at a close second.

If you could get paid the same amount of $ at your current job and do anything, what would it be?

I would be a dolphin trainer or a ROCK STAR (if only I could sing)!

If you found $200 in the trash and you had to spend it that day, what would you do with it?

$200 doesn't seem to go very far, but I guess I would buy a plane ticket to go somewhere like San Diego, or I would drive to Vegas and gamble it away.

What kind of music you like the most and why?

I like every genre of music (different music for different moods), but my all time favorite is heavy metal or rock. I love the way it makes me feel like a young, free-spirit and like I can accomplish anything. It also brings back so many good memories of those high school and college days! Big hair bands live forever! :)

Who have you been most influenced by and why?

1) My husband Rob who helps me see things from a different perspective; and my parents who have taught me just about everything I know and believe in. 2) The Kelbe's they were my second family and they are awesome!

What makes you cry?

-What doesn't make my cry? I cry in movies, when I am listening to songs, when I have to leave someone I love, or when someone I love leaves me. I am very sensitive.

What is your favorite town or state in the United States?

Chicago, baby! I think it's because I miss it so much, and because I love to eat (and what better place is there to eat?)!! I think Florida would have to be my favorite state though, with Wisconsin coming in second. Still, there are so many states I have not visited and would like to visit, especially New York, Connecticut and Massachusetts.

What do you usually eat for dinner?

I like to change it up. Anything from chicken to spaghetti to pizza to steak. A good steak with a baked potato and a salad is still my favorite dinner, and I love vegetables (I know, I'm strange).

What is your favorite website?

I would have to say, "thereganfamily.com" and "drodd.com" I like to see what my friends are up to!

If you had to hear 1 album for the rest of your life what would it be?

Jimmy Buffett

What is your favorite movie?

Ferris Bueller, Top Gun

What do you do for $?

What would I do, or what do I do? I work in Public Relations at a Phoenix hospital where I am in charge of special events and community relations.

What do you find attractive in the opposite sex?

Confidence (not cockiness), sense of humor, fun-loving and a sensitive side. Good looks help, too (love the tall, dark and handsome). I would also take Brad Pitt or Steven Tyler.

Dogs or cats?

DOGS!!!!

What is your favorite sports team?

Chicago Cubs.

You got any Tattoos?

Not yet.

Do you use styling products in your hair?

Yes, it's all about the product.

What is your favorite cartoon character?

Dopey from Snow White

Got any nick-names? What do they mean or how did you get them?

I was called "Strom" in high school because my last name was "Lindstrom." Some people also called my "Stork" because of my long, skinny legs and "Spaz" (speaks for itself), but luckily those did not stick! My dad still calls me "Christy," but he's the only one I will allow to do that!

What is your salad dressing of choice?

Vinegar and oil.

What is your favorite fast food place? What do you order there?

McDonald's: Quarter Pounder with Cheese, Fries and a Coke (boring, huh?) I used to love a double beef burrito supreme with no tomatoes and extra sour cream from Taco Bell. I don't eat there much any more (more of a "munchies thing" in high school). If I do, I order a yummy Tostada. If I still lived in Illinois, it would clearly be Portillo's Italian beef with hot peppers, fries and a root beer - the best anywhere!

What is your favorite booze beverage?

1) Beer 2) Margarita 3) Root Beer and Whiskey or Vanilla Vodka with Coke

What is the one thing people say about you the most?

That I like to have fun.

What do you think people say are some of your most virtuous qualities?

I am caring, kind, good intentioned and will do anything for my friends or family.

What do you think people say are some of your vices?

I tend to think the glass is half-empty. I also have a weakness for sweets!

What is your biggest pet peeve?

I can't stand people who talk just to hear themselves talk, or think they are right about everything. Open-mindedness is the key, baby! And by the way, Sam, I hate liars, too!
