Sandy's Eats

Here's my review of Twisted Spoke, aka T-S or Twisted Sister:

Conveniently located on Clark and Roscoe, this is a great place to grab a bite after a Cubs game. Casual and reasonably priced.  It has lots of outdoor seating, however, it is a little loud due to frequent EL trains going by -- aren't you used to city noise by now?  Inside is pretty rock and roll/biker/tattoos, a little dark, but sorta cool when there aren't a lot of smokers.  The hummus is a good appetizer, served with warm pitas, but I would like it even better if they threw in some veggies, too.  My friend, Ange, is a BIG fan of the buffalo chicken sandwich.  I used to always get the falafal (yum!), although I recently tried the curry chicken salad and it's my new fav. If you like french fries (who doesn't?), these are hand-cut and greased up to perfection.  Try the pulled pork...it's good too.  A bloody mary that will kick your ass is a specialty at brunch.

Score:  3.5 outta 5

Price: With one drink, in and out for about $20
