Baseball is weird unlike other sports baseball congratulates players for hustle and playing way game supposed to be played. For other sports it is expected. In football do you ever hear a running back getting called out for not hustling on a running play? No. In baseball, a player grounds out and gets cheered to hustling down the line. Weird. |

through 2017, but a simple buyout can get them out of it if a
cushy
job comes along. Yet, the players have to sit out for a year

so there must have been an exit clause/buyout in the
contract?

That is a major problem in college sports to begin with.
They
hold these students to their scholarships, yet coaches can
change
jobs
at the drop of a hat.
I was fine with Crean heading back to MSU. But, not IU.
Now
I
hate that program even more.

I agree. Even though I have no connection I am always a
little
disappointed when a coach that has something good going moves
on
to
what are perceived as greener pastures.

i am hurt by this. i hope they get someone good crean took

a notch and thought he was gonna stay for long haul

Sorry to see that Crean is leaving. Indiana sure doesn't
look
very
attractive right now with likely NCAA sanctions and the
possible
loss
of all 5 starters and Marquette is on the rise. I guess it

the
money.
