When were you born? Where?

June 28, 1977 in Downers Grove, IL.

What is the 1st thing you want to do when you get home from work or when you wake up on the weekends?

From work, change out of uncomfortable work clothes. On the weekends, go to the bathroom and get a cup of coffee.

Who would you like to pattern yourself after?

Jesus always saw the good in all people and I try to do that.

What is your favorite vacation spot?

I will always want to visit Galway, Ireland. I've had some great times in Door County, WI this summer. Also, anywhere the Chicks are getting together.

If you could get paid the same amount of $ at your current job and do anything, what would it be?

Either write history books or review novels/short stories.

If you found $200 in the trash and you had to spend it that day, what would you do with it?

I'd get a massage and go shopping (maybe rendezvous with my sis at Oak Brook?).

What kind of music you like the most and why?

I like a lot of different kinds. Lately I've been listening to Prince's new album in the car and Miles Davis in the mornings before work. The only no-no for my CD collection is sappy country music.

Who have you been most influenced by and why?

My parents, my sister, my girlfriends from college and my boyfriend. They all are, in different ways, great examples of how to live a good life and be a good person. They give me confidence and encourage me to try things I otherwise wouldn't.

What makes you cry?

I cry when I'm tired or frustrated and sometimes when I'm drunk. Bullies picking on shy or nerdy kids makes me cry too.

What is your favorite town or state in the United States?

I have two: Milwaukee, WI and Chicago, IL.

What do you usually eat for dinner?

Lately, it's either cereal and yogurt, salads or something frozen I can cook in the microwave. I'm not big into cooking.

What is your favorite website?

I check the National Weather Service website several times a day. I'd be lost without bankone.com. I love looking at the pictures on drodd.com.

If you had to hear 1 album for the rest of your life what would it be?

I never get tired of Ella Fitzgerald sings Gershwin.

What do you do for $?

Development Officer for St. Joseph Regional Medical Center in Milwaukee, WI.

What do you find attractive in the opposite sex?

They like to read, they believe in and practice some kind of faith (no Dark Arts please), and they think I'm funny.

Dogs or cats?

I like both.

What is your favorite sports team?

Marquette U Men's Basketball.

You got any Tattoos?

Nope.

Do you use styling products in your hair?

Yes, Aveda Phomoliant (sp??) and sometimes hairspray.

What is your favorite cartoon character?

I've always liked Goofey.

Got any nick-names? What do they mean or how did you get them?

My Mom calls me Karen Marie-bee (because it rhymes and I liked it when I was little). My Dad calls me Sweetums (because I'm so darn sweet). I recently asked my boyfriend to address me only as "boo" or "shorty."

What is your salad dressing of choice?

French or Ranch.

What is your favorite fast food place? What do you order there?

PJ's chicken salad sandwich sub. I'm also a big fan of the Mexican Pizza at Taco Bell.

What is your favorite booze beverage?

Vodka tonic with lemon.

What do you think people say are some of your most virtuous qualities?

Patience, optimism, sincerely wanting happiness for other people.

What do you think people say are some of your vices?

Laziness, get caught up in my own world and don't reach out to my friends or family.

What is your biggest pet peeve?

When people cut or file their nails in public.
