When were you born? Where?

May 5, 1975. Park Ridge, Illinois

What is the 1st thing you want to do when you get home from work or when you wake up on the weekends?

After work I'll usually surf the net, update my iPod, play the piano and catch reruns of the simpsons and seinfeld.

Weekends I'll usually sleep in, read and watch sports on TV

Who would you like to pattern yourself after?

My father. Not because of any one particular thing but because he knows how to filter out the crap from what's really important in life.

What is your favorite vacation spot?

Every year for about 10 years as a kid my family would go to a cabin in Hayward, WI. I haven't been back in years but my best recent vacations have always been in similar settings: big lake, fishing poles, nature and quiet.

If you could get paid the same amount of $ at your current job and do anything, what would it be?

Some kind of sound engineer

If you found $200 in the trash and you had to spend it that day, what would you do with it?

Head to the boats and play craps.

What kind of music you like the most and why?

Everything. If there is one thing that's my passion it's music and I really appreciate those who can do/did it well. From Oakenfold to Bob Mould, Mozart to Grohl there's a lot of talent in what those people do and I wish I had it.

Who have you been most influenced by and why?

I'd like to think that I'm not that easily influenced but I'm definitely a product of my parents with a few of my close friends thrown in for the simple reason of that's who I'm most around.

What makes you cry?

Seeing others suffer.

What is your favorite town or state in the United States?

Don't think I've found it yet but I'll stick around Chicago for awhile. It's home.

What do you usually eat for dinner?

Some sort of non-Adkins diet which is centered around pasta and bread groups.

If you had to hear 1 album for the rest of your life what would it be?

Modest Mouse's "The Moon and Antarctica" is one of the best albums I've heard start to finish.

The Last Temptation of Christ; Pi; Everything by Wes Anderson (can't wait for The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou)

What do you do for $?

I'm a pharmacist.

What do you find attractive in the opposite sex?

Outside of the obvious traits desired by the male species, I've always liked a girl who can pull off wearing short hair and doesn't wear too much make-up. On a more cerebral level, someone who isn't afraid to challenge my thought process and ideas with her own thoughts. On a more social level, someone who understands that I'm a guy and will probably never stop acting like a guy (or little boy as the case may be)

Dogs or cats?

Dogs...over 20 pounds

What is your favorite sports team?

I really hate that I'm a Cubs fan right now but, Chicago Cubs.

You got any Tattoos?

No.

Do you use styling products in your hair?

Not usually, unless I'm told I need to look nice.

I've always been partial to Charlie Brown

Got any nick-names? What do they mean or how did you get them?

Boris. I've been Boris since senior year of high school. We ate at Taco Bell frequently in high school and they were once running a campaign with Rocky and Bullwinkle. It so happened that the cup I was drinking from had the character Boris of Rocky and Bullwinkle on it. All my friends decided they would call me Boris from then on as a shorter version of my last name, Borkowski. It stuck and then took of again once I got to college.

What is your salad dressing of choice?

I'll usually go with the house of wherever I'm eating. Otherwise a creamy garlic or poppyseed.

What is your favorite fast food place? What do you order there?

Potbelly's - The Wreck

What is your favorite booze beverage?

Manhattan's; White Russians

What is the one thing people say about you the most?

His real name is not Boris?

What do you think people say are some of your most virtuous qualities?

Loyalty, honesty

What do you think people say are some of your vices?

Gambling, the occasional cigarette, temper, impatience.

What is your biggest pet peeve?

Not claiming responsibility for one's own actions. Chicago traffic is a close second.
