FIVE HOUR STEW

 

2 lbs. stew meat cut in small pieces
1 cup celery
1 cup carrots
1 TBL. Sugar
½ tsp. salt
3 TBL.  Tapioca
1 can tomatoes
3 onions
3 potatoes (cut up small)
2 slices white or rye bread broken in small pieces
Mushrooms (optional)

Mix everything; put in 13 x 9 baking dish.  Cover tightly with foil.  Bake at 250 degrees for 5 hours (no peeking).
