St. Louis Rams wide receiver Brian Quick has been inactive for the first two weeks of the season. After participating in the preseason the assumption was Quick would open up the season as a starting wideout. However, that was not the case. Head coach Jeff Fisher now says Quick is ready to roll from a physical standpoint. The shoulder is no longer an issue. “I’ve not ruled him out [for this week].” Fisher said. “He’s physically able to play, so we’ll see what happens.”
FANTASY ANALYSIS: This is potential good news for owners who invested in Quick. He became a trendy sleeper this year. Last season he got off to a hot start before succumbing to a shoulder injury. It required surgery and his season was over. If you own Quick, monitor this situation. If he comes back and is productive, he could develop into a flex option. As of now, his role remains undefined and his status is currently unknown.
