Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Rashad Greene has been placed on injured reserve/designated for return. He underwent surgery on his right thumb Tuesday after getting injured Week 2. He will be eligible to return November 19 against the Tennessee Titans on Thursday Night Football.
FANTASY ANALYSIS: This is a tough break for an undervalued receiver. He was dealing with the injury during the game which caused him to drop a few passes and subsequently get phased out. He should regain his role as the primary slot receiver when he returns. The bottom line is he’s better at the position than Marqise Lee in. For now he is safe to cast off to waivers. Greene should have some PPR value once he returns to action. We will all have to patiently wait for that Titans, Jags prime time game. You have to love Thursday Night Football.
