Cowboys trade fifth-round pick for QB Matt Cassel

The Dallas Cowboys have traded a 2017 fifth-round pick to the Buffalo Bills for quarterback Matt Cassel. Cassel is expected to backup Brandon Weeden and possibly replace him if he falters. It will likely take Cassel a few weeks to get up to speed.
FANTASY ANALYSIS: The Cowboys were willing to give up a fifth-round pick for Cassel. Dallas now has by far the worst quarterback situation in the league. Now it’s just a matter of which one of these guys are less horrible. The good news is, at least they’ll have time to sit in the pocket behind the Cowboys’ dominant offensive line. The bad news is, Terrance Williams is now their top weapon in the passing game. Avoid this passing game for the time being.
