Indianapolis Colts quarterback Andrew Luck has turned the ball over more than anybody else since the beginning of 2014. He added three interceptions and a fumble to his resume on Monday night in an embarrassing loss to the New York Jets. His head coach Chuck Pagano is not happy with him and is not happy with the offensive line. “You just got to take care of the football” Pagano said. “Make great decisions and take care of the football. It’s not that hard. It’s not trigonometry hellip; You can’t do it. You can’t turn the ball over. You’ve got to protect, you’ve got to give him time, you’ve got to give him a clean pocket so he can step up and not get hit when he’s releasing the ball and we’ve got to get it fixed.”
FANTASY ANALYSIS: As great as Luck has been, turnovers have been a major issue. He needs to take better care of the ball if he expects to take that next step. It’s not all his fault though. The Colts are one of the most poorly constructed teams in the NFL. It’s amazing Colts general manager Ryan Grigson still has a job. Anybody with a half a brain when it comes to football can see what a terrible job he’s done building a team. The issue is, the only man dumber than Grigson may be Colts owner Jim Irsay. The only thing they’ve done right is happen to be the worst team in football the year before Luck came into the league.
