Browns QB Josh McCown cleared to play and will start Week 3

Cleveland Browns quarterback Josh McCown has completed the league’s concussion protocol. He has been cleared to play and the team has already announced McCown will be the starter Week 1. Johnny Manziel will move back to the bench as the QB2 and the Browns Week 2 win is sure to loom large over McCown’s shoulder.
FANTASY ANALYSIS: The beginning of this season couldn’t have gone worse for McCown. He gets his head smashed in Week 1 while making the unfathomable decision to attempt to run and hurdle athletic Jets defenders. A sure touchdown turned into a fumble and concussion. Then little Johnny Football comes in the next week and wins a game for the lowly Browns. Now if they lose Week 3 to the Raiders, the entire city of Cleveland will be calling for McCown to be pulled. It’s hard to stop that train once it gets rolling. The writing is on the wall for McCown.
