Que Rico

two locations - Southport and Diversey; and Roscoe and Oakley

My friend and her husband frequent this Mexican/Argentinian restaurant - and now, with a new location in Roscoe Village, it's even more convenient for them. Aside from the fantastic food - ask for the guac without the oinions (too much) and order fajitas or tacos - both are great - the atmosphere at both locations is fantastic. The Southport location has two dining rooms, one upstairs, and tables outside - french doors from the downstairs dining area make it bright and airy. I actually had my 30th birthday party (last year, ya right) in the upstairs area and the staff were great. The new location is beautifully decorated and the one whole wall of the dining area opens to the patio tables outside. There is a great rooftop deck that is used for private parties. The food is great, the staff is friendly, and the atmosphere can't be beat. Nice for a romantic date out or fun night with friends. Chill with a margarita - get Patron; their house tequilla is ick. I'd say this is my #2 favorite Mexican restaurant - Hacienda watch out - it's a close call.
