The Buddy System was invented by Nate in the Spring of 2002.

The buddy system is simple. You must do everything in your power to support your buddy. This includes cheering for them, sticking up for them during Blarney Stoney cubs chats, etc. You should pick a player who is struggling -and you need to be their buddy and pick them up and make them succeed.

The draft takes place on Monday March 31 starting at 9AM CST. Each person drafting has 20 minutes to select their buddy. I know it won't take that long but sometimes people have meetings (Roman) or are sleeping (Chando). The draft must be completed by 12 PM CST because that is when the 1st pitch is thrown in NYC. NO BUDDY TRADING IS ALLOWED.
