Is it okay to tip using change? I mean it is actual U.S. currency.

Sure, you can tip using change. As long as its change for an Andrew Jackson. We're not running a fucking charity here. Jesus H. Christ, who asks this? If you can't afford to part with some green to get good service, take your ass to Kwik-e-mart, buy a twelve of Schlitz, plop your ass down on the sofa, have yourself a little party and call it a night.
